I've been married to my husband, John-a Boeing engineer for 30 years. I met him while I worked during the summer months in college as a tour guide along the Interstate in Nebraska. My booth was strategically located in front of the men's restroom! Yep! That's right!! He had graduated from University of Illinois and while on his way to his first job with Boeing in Washington, decided to stop in at the last moment to use the facilities. In one hour, God connected our hearts. . .and the rest is history!
We have 3 grown children, and one daughter-in-law. All are continuing their education in local Washington universities.
When I was young, my first introduction to Christanity was through the movie "The Robe". However, I didn't go to church until my first year in college when I met Ethel, a happy out-going woman who took me under her wings. I accepted the Lord when I was 18 and it was then that I came to know the Jesus the movie refered to!
As I've been serving Him, it's been one adventure after another! Our world has greatly been expanded by living a year in France . . .and for that , we give Him thanks!
